Gail Muldrow - America's Got Talent Contestant
Gail was born in San Francisco, raised in the Bay area, under challenging conditions and few opportunities for a young black woman.  But compelling circumstances brought her amazing good fortune no one but her would have dreamt of.  When faced with the choice, she chose music instead of a life of crime and the hustle of the streets.

Her mother was a friend of Sly Stone, in fact, she sewed many of Sly’s costumes for his band, Sly and The Family Stone which young Gail used to model.  She would hang at Sly’s home, and when she picked up a guitar herself, magic happened.

At age 17, Sly saw her perform and put her on his hit record, ”I Get High On You”.  He took her in as family, and nicknamed her”Cousin Gale.!”

As a result of playing with Sly, she met Larry Graham, and from there went on tour with him and Grand Central Station as front lead singer and guitarist.

Gail Mojo Muldrow has been compared to guitarists such as Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Albert Collins. A multi talented entertainer, she also plays Bass Guitar, Key’s and Drums. Her vocal versatility is amazing, reminding us of the time when singers all had a distinct difference to one another. Gladys, Aretha, Etta are obvious influences in her vocal style. Gail grew up during the time when rock and roll was forming.

Artists such as Ray Charles, Mahalia Jackson, Duke Ellington, Nancy Wilson and many more were the background sounds of her youth.
On her own for the last 4 years she has re-emerged with her own style and own songs that have created a new and growing fan base, electrifying crowds.

A great story – from a place of hard times to where she now has made her own place in music.
